Key Responsibilities

  • •Write and develop POC test plans with Arista System Engineers and customers to verify that Arista products meet design requirements.
  • •Identify or develop test tools and methods to validate complex scale and performance requirements.
  • •Design, build and configure large test beds for POC tests and run trial tests.
  • •Host customers for POC, execute tests and demonstrate capabilities; document results with logs and screenshots.
  • •Log defects in the bug tracking system, reproduce defects, assist engineering to resolve defects, and propose feature enhancements based on customer feedback.

Key Requirements

  • •BS CS/CE/EE; MS degree preferred
  • •5+ years of experience in software test, system test, proof of concept tests, network consulting, systems engineering, or advanced services
  • •CCIE certification is a plus
  • •In-depth knowledge of deploying, testing and troubleshooting: STP, LACP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, ISIS, Segment Routing, BFD, NSF, MPLS, IGMP, PIM SM/SSM, ACL, QoS, Radius/TACACS+, 802.1x, NAC, sFlow
  • •Experience in network virtualization technologies such as VXLAN, OpenStack, etc.
