Key Responsibilities

•Provide reliability engineering expertise to optimise maintenance strategies and improve asset performance across the refinery.
•Develop, optimise, and continuously improve preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies to maximise asset performance and lifecycle value.
•Monitor asset health, analyse equipment performance, and conduct failure investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to reduce unplanned downtime and recurring issues.
•Review maintenance and work management effectiveness, ensuring processes, SAP data, and compliance requirements support reliable operational outcomes.
•Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement, implement equipment upgrades, manage change, and support broader asset management initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate qualification in mechanical engineering.
•Experience applying reliability, maintenance, and asset management principles within processing, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments.
•Strong mechanical engineering and asset reliability expertise across fixed plant equipment including pumps, conveyors, pressure vessels, piping, tanks, heat exchangers, and rotating equipment.
•Proven ability to analyse equipment performance and conduct failure investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify failure mechanisms and implement corrective actions.
•Skilled in developing and optimising preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies to improve asset reliability and operational performance.
