Key Responsibilities

  • •Leads and executes breakthrough and incremental improvement projects in the plant, identifying productivity opportunities and driving projects to completion
  • •Engages line/process/department personnel in all phases of improvement efforts (Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC projects, line balancing, standard work, daily improvements) and applies lean/six sigma practices
  • •Supports plant CI projects and assists with ideas and suggestions processes; collaborates on evaluation and implementation of CI ideas
  • •In cooperation with colleagues, is responsible for realization of productivity and CI ideas, capturing and sharing learnings to enable best practices
  • •Coaches, trains, and develops improvement ideas with team members and plant personnel to build CI capability and culture

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
  • •At least 3 years required within a plant environment
  • •At least 1 full year in a dedicated Continuous Improvement role, including leading Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives
  • •Green Belt Certification highly preferred
  • •The ability to overcome obstacles and communicate effectively while managing multiple tasks
