Job Summary

Guarantee internal stakeholders receive the right MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) products and services at the best cost, meeting quality and lead-time requirements. Lead and manage tender processes, optimize and manage supplier panels, negotiate contracts and purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and analyze spend. Implement group purchasing strategy, maintain pricing data in SAP MM/ERP, and develop a 3–5 year sourcing plan with the Purchasing Director.

Key Responsibilities

•Launch and manage tenders with the purchasing panel.
•Optimize and communicate the supplier panel for assigned categories and collaborate on purchasing strategies and action plans.
•Negotiate contracts and orders to achieve performance targets and expected savings.
•Monitor supplier performance, conduct audits/reviews, and handle non-conformities and delivery timing.
•Analyze spending, validate orders per procedures, and codify recurring purchases in the ERP.

Key Requirements

•Master’s-level (or equivalent) degree in purchasing/procurement, or comparable training, is required.
•Proficiency with purchasing and negotiation techniques, including legal aspects, is required.
•Strong command of English is required.
•Proficiency with IT tools (Outlook, Pack Office) and ERP (SAP MM) is required.
•Industrial knowledge of metallurgy is a plus.
