Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership and execute feasibility studies, defining a vision for future SAR missions, systems, and instruments.
  • •Develop SAR operating modes and conduct detailed performance analyses.
  • •Design innovative SAR modes based on modern digital beamforming techniques (e.g., MAPS, F-SCAN).
  • •Perform system and interface engineering across disciplines (electrical, thermal, mechanical) and model system performance.
  • •Plan and lead the study team, coordinate subcontractors, and manage time and cost while specifying customer technical requirements (functionality and performance).

Key Requirements

  • •Completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, mathematics, physics, or a comparable discipline.
  • •Solid experience in radar and strong affinity for SAR signal theory.
  • •Ability to create complex SAR systems at the conceptual level and proficient use of MATLAB (or comparable simulation software).
  • •Fluent German and very good English skills.
  • •Strong knowledge and experience in distributed sensor systems (Distributed Sensor Systems) is a plus.
