Hardware Engineer II

Design and deliver next-generation server hardware that powers Akamai’s CDN and Cloud Compute platforms. Test and validate server components for performance, power, and reliability, then document results, diagnose issues across engineering and manufacturing, and recommend improvements. Build and maintain test scripts to verify current and upcoming features while staying current on computing, networking, storage, and hardware acceleration standards.
