Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in computer networking, including extensive Metro Ethernet, IP routing/switching, and MPLS with 100G/400G optics.
  • •Subject matter expertise in Ethernet and Ethernet transport, including Ethernet transport concepts and dark/grey fiber testing.
  • •Experience developing and executing test plans and designing test cases, including fiber modes and optical test methodologies (e.g., SMF/MMF/DWDM/CWDM).
  • •Hands-on testing and troubleshooting with network automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) plus Linux administration and familiarity with REST APIs/network telemetry.
  • •Experience with carrier-grade network test platforms (e.g., Spirent, Keysight, Calient) and validating solutions across multiple networking vendors (Cisco, Ciena, Adtran, ADVA, Nokia, Juniper, Axon).
