Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and manage mechanical commodities/subcategories to execute supplier production strategies from NPI to full production.
  • •Vet suppliers’ production capabilities, factory layout, and workforce for inclusion in the Approved Supplier List.
  • •Own manufacturing process development at supplier locations, including initialization of new production lines and tooling to meet performance, quality, and production-rate requirements.
  • •Own the roadmap for capacity expansion, manufacturing readiness, and production ramp-up at suppliers.
  • •Establish performance via statistical process control (SPC) reviews and drive product/process improvements and factory layout optimization to lower part cost, reduce supply risk, eliminate defects, and improve cycle time.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 113,000 - 149,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •6+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing environment.
  • •Technical expertise in specific categories as applicable, including composites and thermoplastics manufacturing, IPC standards, CAD, and GD&T.
  • •Travel at least 50% of the time.
  • •Ability to relocate to be onsite in Huntsville, AL and to be eligible and maintain a U.S. clearance.
