Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate Multivac, Propac, and Cryovac packaging machines in an efficient manner
  • •Use packaging SOPs to pull correct materials for the assigned packaging schedule
  • •Use SAP to transfer material/WIP to and from storage and assigned locations, including transaction corrections
  • •Maintain standard line performance by setting/adjusting equipment speeds and troubleshooting/adjusting as needed
  • •Train new machine operators and serve as safety captain/first point of contact for line and equipment issues

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •12 months of continuous work experience with a single employer and at least 6 months of machine operator experience
  • •Basic math and computer skills
  • •High school education plus 2 to 3 years sanitation experience in a meat processing facility
  • •Ability to perform physical requirements, including repeated lifting/pushing/pulling up to 40–60 pounds and working overtime/weekends as needed
  • •Willingness to complete required training and follow all safety/food safety/GMP/SQF requirements
