Key Responsibilities

  • •Protect Wise merchants from fraud chargeback losses and protect Wise from first-party merchant fraud.
  • •Proactively analyze merchant dispute trends to find gaps in acquiring fraud prevention rulesets and improve rule precision to reduce disputes, chargeback losses, and merchant friction.
  • •Understand and implement machine learning scores within static fraud rules to improve precision and recall.
  • •Collaborate with Acquiring Product and Engineering teams to optimize the fraud customer journey and improve the risk engine.
  • •Provide incident management support by supplying insights to stakeholders and escalating risks outside the acquiring fraud domain/appetite.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 2,600 - 3,200 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •Have the right to work in Estonia and be based in or near Tallinn (no visa sponsorship or relocation support).
  • •Excellent verbal and written English skills; other languages are a bonus.
  • •Experience with SQL or a similar coding language, plus strong attention to detail.
  • •Make decisions in critical situations, multitask, and operate effectively with complexity.
  • •Preferably have experience creating and managing FinCrime prevention strategy, and be enthusiastic about the FinCrime industry.
