Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead integrated delivery (engineering, procurement, and construction management) for major chemical capital projects and programs.
  • •Deliver internal and external financial performance and manage complex project execution commitments.
  • •Develop project execution plans; lead project reviews; negotiate client change orders and contractual issues while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • •Oversee responses to Requests for Proposals and support the bid process for new project negotiations.
  • •Understand and review Safety, Quality, and Environment Management Systems, follow Wood safety/security procedures, and take appropriate action.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or a construction-related field.
  • •10+ years managing large chemical sector projects (chemicals/polymers/resins/fine chemicals/renewable feedstock).
  • •Experience delivering EPC and/or EPCM projects at $200MM level (TIC value).
  • •Advanced knowledge of project controls (scheduling, budgeting, risk management, progress monitoring, forecasting).
  • •Ability to lead an EPCM team through the project life cycle from FEL and budgeting to delivery within time and budget.
