Job Summary

Provide design solutions for civil engineering projects by designing high, medium, and low voltage systems, street lighting, and telecom networks for masterplan, transportation, and highway work. Develop right-of-way cross sections, produce reports/drawings/calculations/presentations, and coordinate with other disciplines. Liaise with local authorities on utility design proposals, submit designs for approvals, and use tools such as Dialux, ETAP, Amtech, AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Navisworks following QA/QC requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide design solutions to civil engineering projects
•Design high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage, street lighting, and telecom networks for masterplan, transportation, and highway projects
•Design right of way cross sections for utilities and produce reports, drawings, calculations, and presentations
•Liaise with local authorities regarding utility design proposals and follow up to obtain approvals
•Use Dialux, ETAP, Amtech, AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Navisworks; conduct power analysis studies and follow QA/QC requirements

Key Requirements

•BEng / BSc (Hon) or equivalent in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 5 years post graduate experience
•Member of / working towards associated professional body membership
•Model power and lighting networks
•Provide detailed engineering design solutions for utility networks
•Good report writing skills and ability to compile authority approval documentation to obtain approvals
