Job Summary

Provide expert, customer-facing support for Red Hat OpenShift, acting as a trusted adviser through tickets, phone, and remote access tools. Troubleshoot complex, multi-product issues within SLA, analyze root causes, and communicate corrective actions and resolutions professionally and quickly. Collaborate with internal teams and external parties during escalations, document reusable diagnostic steps, and contribute knowledge to Red Hat’s global knowledge management system. Participate in rotational weekend shifts when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the direct contact for customer inquiries about Red Hat OpenShift via ticketing, phone, and remote access tools.
•Deliver exceptional customer experience by using professional communication and deep troubleshooting to resolve issues within SLA.
•Analyze issues to identify problem areas and communicate corrective actions and resolutions to customers professionally and timely.
•Collaborate with other support engineers, internal teams, and external parties during problem resolution.
•Document diagnostic steps to create reusable solutions, contribute knowledge to the global knowledge management system, and support rotational weekend shift duties when needed.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in technical support, systems engineering, or software maintenance.
•Configure and troubleshoot OpenShift components including logging, monitoring, networking, storage, and Service Mesh.
•Hands-on container experience with Docker, Podman, LXC, cri-o, and runc.
•Experience with Linux Kernel and proficient Linux operation and administration.
•Automation/scripting experience with Ansible, Bash, or Python, plus strong troubleshooting and escalation handling.
