Lead the end-to-end development of software products within cross-disciplinary agile teams, covering architecture, design, integration, test, and field support. Own software engineering process maturity aligned with the Software Engineering Institute, and collaborate with engineering disciplines, programs, and external stakeholders. Bring technical and team leadership experience, C++ expertise, real-time/embedded development knowledge, and UML/OOA-D to mentor junior engineers and drive high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams using agile software development techniques.
•Own the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design through integration, test, and field support.
•Collaborate with engineering disciplines, program teams, and external stakeholders in a team environment requiring strong communication.
•Work to and learn the highest software engineering process maturity level as recognized by the Software Engineering Institute.
•Provide mentoring support for junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•Experience in software engineering across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle.
•Prior technical or team leadership experience (e.g., SW Architect, SW Lead).
•Experience with software development using C++.
•Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded programming, and processor/board architecture and design.
•Active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required. Typically requires STEM degree with 12+ years relevant experience (or advanced degree with 10+ years).
