Job Summary

Manage and deliver project and programme controls for infrastructure clients within the Integrated Programme Controls team. Support delivery by addressing actual budget and forecast costs, tracking action items, and maintaining baseline budgets. Perform earned value monitoring, variance analysis, progress trend analysis, and performance measurement. Create and assist with project reporting and help lead project cost review meetings while supporting procedure development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver project and programme controls by managing actual budget and forecast costs to capture business and project status.
•Support project delivery across cost data representation, baseline establishment, and progress and cost trend analysis.
•Perform earned value monitoring and conduct variance analysis by evaluating manpower, labour hours, and labour costs versus budget.
•Prepare revised cost forecasts, expenditure forecasts, and analyze cost impacts to identify critical points in project funding.
•Create and assist with project reporting and participate in (or help lead) project cost review meetings and procedure development.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or a project controls/management qualification (APMG Planning and Controls, Prince2, RICS, APM, MICE, CIOB).
•Proven cost control or planning & scheduling experience in a multi-discipline project environment.
•Experience implementing Earned Value Management (EVM) based project controls systems to relevant national standards.
•Practical ability to use project management concepts including EVM, project planning, risk analysis, and configuration management.
•Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or other planning software, and PowerBI.
