Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that improve how customers interact with their money.
  • •Leverage a broad technology stack to discover insights from large volumes of numeric and textual data.
  • •Build AI foundation models across design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation phases.
  • •Conduct high-impact applied research to advance emerging AI methods into next-generation customer experiences.
  • •Collaborate with senior researchers to produce internal technical reports or conference submissions summarizing methods or findings.

Salary: USD 238,600 - 272,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD or M.S. (with 2 years of applied research experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • •Hands-on experience developing AI foundation models and solutions using open-source tools and cloud computing platforms.
  • •Deep understanding of AI methodologies and experience building large deep learning models (e.g., language, images, events, or graphs).
  • •Experience with one or more advanced topics such as training optimization, self-supervised learning, robustness, explainability, or RLHF.
  • •Ability to own and pursue a research agenda, selecting impactful research problems and carrying out long-running projects.
