Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Developer Experience team as a player-coach, hiring, mentoring, and growing platform engineers while staying technically grounded.
  • •Own and evolve the Delivery Platform (CI/CD & infrastructure), including SLO-driven delivery, progressive delivery, and safe database migrations.
  • •Provide observability and developer self-service tooling such as automated scaffolding, a centralized software catalog, and ephemeral PR preview environments.
  • •Operate the AI-Assisted Developer Platform, including managed agent sandboxes, AI integrations across the SDLC, and MCP-based context layers.
  • •Apply security guardrails for a regulated financial institution and use both DORA and AI telemetry to measure and improve outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep expertise in AWS/GCP and Terraform for platform delivery and operations.
  • •Strong hands-on background with Kubernetes (EKS), ECS/EKS, and GitHub Actions, plus Python and Linux.
  • •Experience building or operating an Internal Developer Platform (e.g., Backstage) at scale with measurable delivery and adoption outcomes.
  • •Leadership experience managing engineering teams or serving as a Tech Lead with formal hiring, coaching, and performance responsibilities.
  • •Daily experience using coding agents in production, including agent sandboxes/MCP servers/evaluation pipelines (or CI-integrated agents).
