Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and deliver all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion, including feasibility estimates, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, value engineering, risk management, dispute resolution, post-contract cost reporting and final accounts.
  • •Maintain and develop good relationships with clients and professionals to uphold and grow the firm’s profile as a provider of premium cost management services.
  • •Drive performance standards and technical excellence through effective communication and use of practice networks.
  • •Support client relationships and uphold the firm’s profile by delivering high-quality services.
  • •Mentor and manage junior staff on technically complex projects and contribute to business development by identifying marketing opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Academic Qualification – ideally Quantity Surveying Degree / Project Management / Construction / Engineering
  • •Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution
  • •Significant and proven experience with a strong track record in Cost Management / Quantity Surveying on large scale infrastructure projects
  • •Good working knowledge of NEC4 suite of contracts, particularly PSC and ECC
  • •Experience of undertaking cost / commercial management as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams
