Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-level technical assistance and guidance for due diligence, investigation, remediation, permitting, design, development, and construction of utility, industrial, and commercial projects.
  • •Design primary electrical power and emergency power systems, including fire alarm and life safety systems and lighting and lighting control systems.
  • •Perform electrical calculations (load, short circuit, and voltage drop) and substantiate reports and documentation for specifications.
  • •Manage cross-functional engineering project work, including budgets, schedule tracking, permit applications, construction documentation, and regulatory/technical analysis memos.
  • •Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and stakeholders, administer construction-phase services, and supervise and mentor younger engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering.
  • •7+ years of post-education experience designing electrical systems in industrial/pharmaceutical, laboratories, commercial, institutional/higher education, healthcare, or similar facilities.
  • •Extensive knowledge of electrical design, particularly in the healthcare industry.
  • •At least 5+ years of project management experience.
  • •Professional engineering license is required.
