Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead day-to-day administration of a portfolio of corporate and personal insolvency appointments from commencement to completion.
  • •Develop and implement case strategy, ensuring case files, checklists, statutory diaries, and critical deadlines are complete and met.
  • •Review and approve statutory lodgements and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines under the Corporations Act 2001, Bankruptcy Act 1966, and other relevant legislation.
  • •Direct investigations into potential antecedent/voidable transactions and lead asset identification, recovery, and realisation processes.
  • •Supervise and coach onshore/offshore team members, manage engagement budgets and commercial performance, and prepare reports and updates to creditors and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Approximately 5+ years of corporate and personal insolvency experience in a specialist insolvency practice or accounting firm.
  • •Advanced experience with insolvency case management systems such as IPS Cloud (or similar).
  • •Ability to independently manage the lifecycle of corporate and personal insolvency appointments, including medium and complex matters.
  • •Strong knowledge of Australian insolvency statutory requirements, reporting obligations, and compliance deadlines.
  • •Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, business, finance, or commercial law, plus professional qualifications (e.g., CPA/CA) and/or ARITA Advanced Certification (or progress).
