Job Summary

Lead complex turbomachinery controls proposals from inquiry through order, ensuring scope, cost, cycle, legal, and commercial risks are managed to win business. Review technical specifications, T&Cs, and proposal materials including preliminary control system design, hardware needs, diagrams, and narratives. Collaborate with project engineering and SMEs, support RFQ/proposal generation, and negotiate T&Cs and pricing guidance. Provide technical support to sales and participate in site surveys.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute proposals from inquiry to order for very complex projects, managing scope, cost, cycle, legal, and commercial risk.
•Review technical specifications and T&Cs for proposals and contracts, including preliminary control system design, hardware requirements, tool development, and control narratives.
•Create and maintain inquiry handling and proposal generation for RFQs, ensuring technical and commercial needs are reflected and quoting processes are followed.
•Proactively negotiate customer T&Cs, guide account managers before escalation to contract management, and manage pricing within published guidelines and delegation of authority.
•Support sales with technical information and respond to customer clarifications; attend site surveys/bid clarification meetings and provide technical support to order-entry; follow safety policies.
