Job Summary

Lead Sapphire Americas site operations to ensure company, state, and federal safety and environmental standards for alternate fuels and alternate raw materials. Drive local operations to maximize AF/ARM usage and partner with the plant team to optimize quality and quantity for stable kiln operation. Manage on-site coprocessing and off-site preprocessing logistics, oversee supplier relationships and delivery/inventory reconciliation, and coordinate costs, budgeting, and AF/ARM billing while supporting onsite trials and change management.

Key Responsibilities

•Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines; ensure company, state, and federal safety and environmental standards for AF and ARM are met.
•Drive local Sapphire operations to maximize the use of alternate fuels and alternate raw materials.
•Partner with the plant team to optimize AF/ARM quality and quantity for stable kiln operation and quality product.
•Manage AF/ARM processing and logistics, including on-site coprocessing and off-site preprocessing, and oversee suppliers, deliveries, and weekly/monthly inventory reconciliations.
•Manage Sapphire operating cost activities, coordinate expense budgeting and monthly reporting, and support AF/ARM billing and onsite trials/change management.

Key Requirements

•2+ years or an Associate Degree from a trades school in construction management, mechanics, electronics, or a related field.
•7+ years of experience working within a resource recovery or processing site, or in an industrial manufacturing or mining environment.
•Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles of equipment used in mineral processing.
•Knowledge of process engineering principles.
•Proficient computer skills including email, SAP, and Excel.
