Key Responsibilities

•Lead and define end-to-end release workflows for rack-scale compute and switch tray firmware/software the ensure highest quality releases and scalable deployment.
•Define release scope across cross-functional teams and ensure releases pass validation matrices, with secure upgrade/rollback support for diverse customer scenarios.
•Influence architecture, design, and implementation decisions for compute and switch trays software/firmware, ensuring quality across nightly, dev, and production drops with robust CI/CD and release-validation strategies.
•Partner with Developers, SWQA, Product Engineering to shift release quality left into QA and monitor progress with KPIs and regular stakeholder reporting.
•Own ingestion and packaging of binaries for deployment across multiple platforms and CSP environments; document procedures and drive roadmap including automation and AI-assisted validation.

Key Requirements

•12+ years in the software industry with specialization in system software and/or firmware development.
•5+ years of proven technical hands-on leadership for multi-team organizations across data center firmware (e.g., BMC, FPGA, CPLDs, network switches) and infrastructure for release quality.
•BS/MS/PhD in CS, CE, EE, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
•Proficiency in Python and Linux, with experience in web application frameworks and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory).
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and time zones.
