Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain automation systems, ensuring they remain in a validated state after go-live.
  • •Support critical automation projects across the project life cycle and maintain systems for compliance and safety.
  • •Follow automation platform design standards (SCADA/Ignition, Historian/Canary, Rockwell PLCs) and provide day-to-day configuration, development, and break/fix support.
  • •Manage automation system documentation, author SOPs, prepare technical/user documentation, and conduct system training.
  • •Coordinate with Facilities, Engineering, Operations, and Quality/Validation to support lab operations, equipment installation/tech transfers, and system maintenance (patching, test plans, and executing test scripts).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technological field.
  • •Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in industrial or process automation, controls, or system engineering.
  • •Working knowledge of industrial networks, communication protocols, and coding/configuring PLCs (Rockwell AB, Siemens).
  • •Experience testing, commissioning, and validating computer systems (CSV).
  • •Experience integrating industrial or manufacturing systems with enterprise IT platforms, including identity providers (Okta, Azure AD) for SSO and role-based access control.
