Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide for safe storage, issuance, shipping, inspection, handling, inventory, and turn-in of Class V conventional ammunition and SOF peculiar Munitions/SPME.
  • •Perform munitions services in a safe, cost-effective, environmentally sound, timely manner in accordance with requirements, SOPs, and regulations.
  • •Maintain accountability and records for unit ammunition and explosives, following Theater and SOCOCENT procedures.
  • •Prepare and process manual and electronic DA forms for issue/turn-in, consumption certificates, and lost/damaged items; prepare and submit reports to higher headquarters.
  • •Schedule transportation to and from the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) and reconcile ammunition account/records with supporting managers; advise and brief leadership on status and availability.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •5-10 years of related experience.
  • •US citizenship with a SECRET security clearance.
  • •Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain required special license/certification for equipment.
  • •Ability to travel OCONUS and to various CONUS/OCONUS locations as needed.
  • •Strong administrative accuracy and written/verbal communication; proficiency with data entry on Microsoft and Adobe tools.
