Job Summary

Support Accounts Receivable and Collections by reviewing and issuing invoices and credit notes, managing electronic invoicing workflows, and resolving client payment discrepancies. Ensure accurate customer collections through reconciliation, ageing analysis, and month-end close documentation, including SOX-compliant reporting. Prepare KPI and client finance reports, collaborate daily with internal finance, treasury, shared services, and commercial teams, and drive AR process improvements for efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Review draft invoices/credit notes, issue invoices, and submit them to clients.
•Manage electronic invoicing processes across platforms such as Tungsten, Ariba, Naturgy, and Facturae.
•Drive end-to-end collections by reconciling payments, resolving payment queries/disputes, and maintaining AR records.
•Prepare AR reporting including ageing analysis, month-end close activities, and SOX-compliant documentation.
•Contribute to client discrepancies resolution, support audits, maintain procedures, and propose AR efficiency improvements.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 4 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) in a large organisation.
•C1 or native Italian and B2+ English for daily communication and reporting.
•Finance background with strong relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders.
•Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, plus familiarity with Outlook and shared mailboxes.
•Ability to work to deadlines, handle complexity, and resolve payment-related issues calmly under pressure.
