Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver solutions by applying development methodologies while factoring operational security into system design, development, and testing.
  • •Design, develop, test, and document software in line with business and industry best practices, using continuous integration where appropriate.
  • •Write high-assurance code as part of a team, including conducting constructive peer reviews and sharing knowledge with junior team members.
  • •Identify flaws during solution design and implementation and apply mitigations as part of a security mindset.
  • •Adapt to emerging technologies, tools, and language trends by assessing risks they may introduce.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency with C++ and at least one additional solution language (e.g., Java, C#) plus one utility language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Perl, PowerShell).
  • •Familiarity with development tools and techniques including IDEs, debuggers, source control, unit testing, mocking, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
  • •Intermediate to advanced understanding of computing principles (e.g., stack/heap distinction and compiled vs. interpreted languages).
  • •Ability to use and configure more than one major operating system and to pick up new languages and technologies quickly.
  • •Experience mentoring others and/or leading technical tasks, with clear communication of technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
