Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents.
  • •Assist the chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys and ensure all preparation areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • •Monitor stock rotation, complying with company policies and procedures following all mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
  • •Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
  • •Communicate effectively with wider kitchen and care home teams to ensure residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.

  • •Passion for food with previous kitchen experience and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
