Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and verify patient charts and review diagnostic results and medical records before upcoming visits
  • •Take vital signs and perform relevant screenings (e.g., urinalysis, rapid strep/flu/COVID, ISTAT, Hem cue, blood glucose) and summarize patient history for the Advanced Practice Provider
  • •Assist with patient care, minor procedures, medication administration, immunizations, IM/IV starts, EKG, dressing changes, and emergency response
  • •Support occupational health surveillance testing in alignment with OSHA and MSHA, including occupational medical assessments and specimen collection
  • •Maintain electronic medical record documentation, required logs, and professional clerical duties such as greeting patients and tracking referrals

Key Requirements

  • •Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistant, EMT-1/2/3, Paramedic, Registered Nurse (RN), Occupational Health Technician (OHT), or CHAP to perform required accountabilities
  • •1-2 years experience working in a medical clinic facility and/or emergency services team
  • •Ability to work independently and as part of a proactive, customer service-oriented team
  • •Time management, organization, and flexibility to meet patient needs in a fast-paced environment
  • •HIPAA confidentiality and Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with willingness to learn EMR; current BLS/CPR
