Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as Executive Director for the JRIC, overseeing and evaluating all aspects of operations including resource allocation, organizational structure, product quality, and threat-information collection and use.
  • •Implement fusion-center Baseline Capabilities, including Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) Fundamentals and Processes and National SAR Initiative (NSI).
  • •Coordinate long- and short-term strategies for threat liaison officer training, critical infrastructure protection, intelligence and analysis, and private sector goals.
  • •Manage contractors and employees assigned to the JRIC.
  • •Act as executive liaison and represent the JRIC across key partner programs, agencies, and intelligence-related meetings and briefings; maintain contacts and prepare reports for governance board meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret Public Trust (or other required clearances per requisition).
  • •Minimum 15 years of experience in law enforcement/intelligence community, including 10 years in supervisory and/or management experience.
  • •Proven leadership managing a multi-agency law enforcement, intelligence, or fusion center environment involving federal, state, and local authorities.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree desirable).
  • •High-level strategic planning and ability to engage and collaborate with federal, state, local, and tribal public safety agency executives, with strong writing and public speaking skills.
