Job Summary

Work hands-on at CHS Northwest in Lynden, WA, supporting grain and agronomy operations. Load and unload grain and agricultural inputs, prepare trucks and railcars for loading, monitor load-out functions and inventory quality, and assist with monitoring grain quality and fertilizer/chemical mixing. Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs, operate warehouse equipment such as loaders and forklifts, deliver products to customer sites, and maintain safe, clean work areas.

Key Responsibilities

•Load and unload grain, agronomy, and feed products, and assist with preparing trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
•Operate heavy/light duty machinery and automated scale/dump systems to control and monitor load-out functions.
•Conduct and record daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks, including inspecting equipment for seeps and leaks.
•Monitor and maintain quality of inventory and assist with monitoring grain quality and mixing/loading fertilizer and chemical products.
•Deliver products (fertilizer, chemical, seed, feed, fuel) to customer sites while keeping work areas clean, orderly, and safe.

Key Requirements

•Must meet the minimum age requirement.
•1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations.
•Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
•Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
•CDL license or ability to attain one with Hazmat endorsement (preferred).
