Pharmacist

Dispense inpatient medications according to prescriptions by reviewing orders for correct strength, dose instructions, and dosage form. Provide patient counseling on dispensed medications, clarify prescription abnormalities with prescribing physicians, and refer unresolved issues to the chief pharmacist. Supervise repackaging, labeling, and documentation for other departments, answer drug-related inquiries, assist with staff training, and manage medicine stock, near-expiry monitoring, and controlled medicine register updates in line with DHA regulations and Joint Commission International norms.
