Key Responsibilities

  • •Interact with guests, cultivate repeat business, and suggestively sell beverages and menu items at the bar.
  • •Pour test success and consistent preparation of beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications.
  • •Record equipment failures and/or safety hazards in the bar log and maintain venue safety and sanitation standards.
  • •Request proper identification for guests appearing under 30 and refuse further service of alcohol when guests are becoming too intoxicated, notifying a manager.
  • •Perform opening/running/closing duties, prepare guest checks on point of sale terminals, process payments, and maintain bartender bank procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Successfully complete a pour test prior to every shift (where applicable).
  • •Ability to work late hours and follow a flexible schedule.
  • •Cash handling experience and comfort maintaining a bartender bank, cash pull/check out procedures, and Comp/Spill checks.
  • •Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs and be physically able to pass a pour test and a timed mixology drill.
  • •TIPS/RAMP certification (provided) and the ability to deal with intoxicated guests safely and courteously while refusing further service when needed.
