Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide end-to-end technical ownership for the resilience, monitoring, and production support of Java-based data ingestion platforms.
  • •Detect, triage, investigate, and resolve production incidents, performing root-cause analysis and implementing lasting fixes.
  • •Plan and deliver platform maintenance including patching, upgrades, and configuration management, while troubleshooting data pipeline issues.
  • •Provide day-to-day technical direction for engineers, including reviewing code and solution designs to ensure requirements are met.
  • •Identify opportunities for automation and agentic AI use cases to improve service request handling, ticket triage, and service outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Serve as a tech lead and service manager with end-to-end responsibility for operational stability of Java-based data ingestion platforms.
  • •Proficiency in Java, Shell and/or Python, with hands-on experience using Ansible, Git and Jenkins to enable automation and reliable delivery.
  • •Understand data movement and integration patterns, including NiFi and Kafka (working knowledge), plus SFTP and CI/CD.
  • •Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data services, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • •Demonstrate incident response and problem management experience with a strong understanding of ITIL (or comparable service management frameworks).
