Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop cost-effective sensing technologies for specific problems.
  • •Design, build, test, and analyze sensing systems and develop/tune sensing algorithms for product features.
  • •Collaborate with electronic, mechanical, embedded SW, and test teams to integrate full sensing systems and meet product/system requirements.
  • •Take designs from early proof of concept through development into production.
  • •Liaise with external suppliers and third parties to ensure Dyson product requirements are met.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Electronics Engineering, Physics).
  • •2-3 years of experience designing, implementing, testing, analyzing, and characterizing off-the-shelf sensors (e.g., IMU, magnetic, pressure, hall-effect, photo optic, thermal).
  • •Experience tuning camera and ISP is advantageous.
  • •Experience with quantitative and statistical data analysis for sensing algorithm development using Matlab or Python.
  • •Experience with hardware lab equipment and analogue signal conditioning/digital processing design techniques.
