Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage month-end close for freight ledger accounts and prepare required journal entries, coordinating with Shared Service Center finance.
  • •Lead annual and quarterly forecasts, including preparation of the U.S./Canadian logistics budget and analytical review for financial integrity and completeness.
  • •Evaluate monthly/quarterly/annual results versus forecasts, identify performance drivers, and prepare ad hoc analyses for executive decision-making.
  • •Develop and improve processes and systems to deliver value-added information, including identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • •Serve as a finance partner to build network cost models and assess supply chain cost-saving initiatives, including tracking realized savings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA preferred.
  • •3+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, accounting, or auditing.
  • •Strong analytical skills to understand results and recommend improvements aligned to affiliate/region reporting.
  • •Proficient in cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement analysis, and budgeting processes.
  • •Experience coordinating multiple projects with strong written and verbal communication, and attention to detail.
