Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain cost accounting and financial analysis systems and ensure accuracy of production costs, packaging, labor, and overhead.
  • •Manage financial accounting and payroll systems, including internal accounting controls and payroll administration.
  • •Provide regular internal and external financial reporting, budgeting, and weekly/monthly forecasting.
  • •Supervise plant performance reporting, inventory functions, and cost savings activities.
  • •Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and weekly/monthly forecasts, implement SOX controls, and support audits while building the plant accounting team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience).
  • •4+ years of supervisory experience in finance and/or cost accounting; food manufacturing experience preferred with standard cost and variance reporting.
  • •Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, fixed assets, general ledger accounting, payroll, and SOX/internal controls.
  • •Understanding of procurement, production, and finished goods delivery dynamics and how they impact profitability.
  • •Advanced Microsoft Excel; SAP and database systems knowledge preferred, with strong people leadership and communication skills.
