  • •Examine and interpret construction plans, specifications, schedules, and other project documentation.
  • •Monitor contractor progress via site inspections for compliance with specifications, plans, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • •Generate accurate documentation and periodic reports using electronic systems and field/work site notebooks.
  • •Provide leadership and direction to junior-level field staff to execute monitoring/oversight requirements.
  • •Anticipate risks to project objectives by reviewing contractor/consultant reports on materials testing and examination, and take action to mitigate risk.

Key Requirements

  • •9+ years of demolition oversight experience, including regulated materials abatement (e.g., asbestos, PCB, universal waste) and demolition using explosive and/or non-explosive methods.
  • •Ability to read and interpret construction plans, technical specifications, permit requirements, test data, schedules, and budgets.
  • •Familiar with relevant environmental and construction laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
  • •Proven workplace safety track record and ability to meet project schedules, including potential extended travel and physical field activities.
