  • •Raise the bar on governance execution across performance monitoring, drift monitoring, fair lending assessments, governance documentation, validation, model inventory, and change management.
  • •Set the long-term strategy for what to automate and standardize and where to exceed industry norms.
  • •Own governance-related relationships across Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales.
  • •Own customer relationships directly by running customer-facing calls, working with model risk teams, preparing validation/governance documentation, and tracking findings through remediation while managing the roadmap.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in model risk management, model validation, model governance, or quantitative risk, including proven experience building or scaling a governance/risk team.
  • •4+ years of people management experience building and scaling model risk or governance teams.
  • •Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions, including fair lending and regulatory guidance, with firsthand ML/statistical model validation experience in regulated environments.
  • •Working technical depth to read and interrogate models; working knowledge of Python and proficiency in SQL.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, and must be legally authorized to work in and reside in the US.
