Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead threat modeling and security reviews across Wiz products and cloud infrastructure to identify attack surfaces and propose scalable mitigations.
  • •Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling that enables teams to shift left and integrate security end-to-end into workflows.
  • •Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
  • •Drive vulnerability management and remediation, prioritizing issues and implementing preventative controls across software supply chains.
  • •Extend detection and response capabilities by building solutions for malicious-activity identification, alert triage, incident investigation, and remediation.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud-native environments.
  • •Experience with AWS cloud security (or Azure/GCP with some AWS experience).
  • •Experience securing Kubernetes and container environments, including EKS/GKE/AKS and container security principles.
  • •Experience securing IAM and cloud identities at scale, including leading security reviews and threat modeling.
  • •Hands-on IaC and security tooling experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or Pulumi, plus automation using Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.
