Key Responsibilities

  • •Own recurring components of the monthly close and support the close calendar with an external accounting partner.
  • •Draft the monthly reporting package including company and state-level P&Ls, unit economics, and the leadership financials deck.
  • •Build and maintain department- and state-level budget vs. actual reporting, explain variances, and surface issues early.
  • •Prepare external financial deliverables for board and lender materials.
  • •Support annual planning and re-forecast cycles and run ad hoc internal ROI analyses with business partners.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or a comparable analytical finance role, including owning monthly close and reporting cycles.
  • •Strong accounting foundation, including accrual concepts and how entries flow through the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • •Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including building models from scratch and auditing others’ work.
  • •Stellar communications and stakeholder management, with the ability to create data-backed points of view.
  • •Experience in healthcare (ideally digital healthcare), multi-state operations, or other regulated environments; claims-based revenue exposure is a plus.
