Job Summary

Senior Consultant Specialist leading GenAI Agent platform design and delivery in HSBC CTO Platforms. You will engineer the agent runtime, orchestration, prompts and workflows, monitor production performance, ensure security by design, maintain developer enablement, and evaluate new GenAI capabilities to translate into practical platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

•GenAI Agent platform engineering: design and develop the agent runtime, orchestration, tool/function calling, prompt and workflow management, memory/state handling, and integration patterns—leveraging frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph (where appropriate) while avoiding unnecessary vendor/framework lock-in.
•Monitor and optimize platform performance in production, including model selection, prompt/agent tuning, retrieval quality, caching, throughput, and resilience; perform root-cause analysis and preventative improvements.
•Embed security, privacy and compliance by design and development: ensure controls for data handling, access management, encryption, auditability, model risk considerations, and safe tool use; align to governance and regulatory expectations.
•Maintain platform documentation and enablement: publish reference design, APIs/SDKs, templates, testing, and developer guidance to accelerate adoption and consistent delivery across teams.
•Track and evaluate emerging GenAI/agent capabilities and translate them into pragmatic platform enhancements with clear value, risk and cost trade-offs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science/Engineering (or related)
•2+ years hand-on coding with Python or Java or Golang
•experience with at least one major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
•ability to deploy/operate services in production (Docker/Kubernetes preferred)
•AI-native mindset with AI-driven approaches (coding assistants)
