Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership to ensure compliance with AIB Food Safety Standards, FDA, and other state/local food safety regulatory agencies.
  • •Manage custodial and waste removal services and maintain sanitation and food safety procedures, training, and safety certifications.
  • •Work weekends as required to maintain sanitation standards and address urgent sanitation issues.
  • •Oversee chemical usage and safety training for the sanitation department and ensure required documentation/certifications.
  • •Maintain a cost-effective sanitation budget; inspect equipment/premises, direct machine cleaners, and troubleshoot sanitation/cleaning malfunctions/inefficiencies to ensure optimal performance and continuous improvement (including CAPA and root-cause activities).
