Job Summary

As a data-driven Business Partner Analyst, you’ll be the go-to expert for your business area, delivering critical insights and supporting strategy, planning and performance tracking. You’ll wrangle large datasets with SQL, develop metrics and dashboards, influence executives, and partner across Ops, Finance, Data Science, Product/Engineering to drive ROI-focused strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Metrics & Insights: Wrangle large, highly complex datasets using SQL into actionable insights and become the data expert for your business area. Develop metrics and dashboards to track health of teams; perform analyses and build models to inform leadership of opportunities and risks.
•Communicate with executives: Create narratives and documents that tell the story of your business area to influence senior Operations leadership and Stripe executive decision making.
•Stakeholder management: Influence and drive cross-functional change by partnering with stakeholders across a global network including Ops, Finance, Data Science, Product/Engineering.
•Drive operational excellence: Design, optimize and drive operational reviews and rhythm of the business; guide planning and goal-setting with ROI lens for strategic decisions.
•Support planning: assist with forecasting/planning processes for Financial Crimes including near/medium/long-term planning.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of prior experience in analytical and strategic roles in management consulting, GTM, Operations, Support, Risk, Strategy & Operations, or Financial Services.
•Outstanding analytical ability, expert in SQL and understanding of data relationships.
•Outstanding communication, presentation skills & stakeholder management skills.
•Ability to connect the big picture to minute details, toggling between them to set and operationalize strategy.
•Experience working in fast-paced environments (e.g. high-growth internet or software company, management consulting) and strong structured problem solving skills with solid business acumen.
