Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal advice to business and stakeholders on Corporate and Institutional Banking matters, including onboarding, account lifecycle issues, standard terms and conditions, counterparty matters, and legal risk assessments
  • •Coordinate responses to official requests such as law enforcement and court-related matters, ensuring governance and confidentiality
  • •Identify, escalate, and help manage legal and regulatory risks related to ongoing and new business initiatives

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in law and enrolled in the Brazilian Bar Association
  • •0–5 years’ relevant experience in the Brazilian banking industry working in Legal Department
  • •Fluent Portuguese and English
  • •Solid understanding of banking business, cross-border loan documentation, and lending/security principles in Brazil
  • •Ability to provide clear, commercial, risk-mitigated legal advice and handle a diverse range of issues
