Job Summary

Lead Kraken’s MiCAR Broker/Custodian European Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) by owning strategic direction, day-to-day operations, and regulatory compliance. Serve as a key stakeholder representative with regulators and industry participants, while managing talent and executive programs to build a high-performing, innovation-driven team.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement the CASP Broker/Custodian strategic vision and business plan, including identifying new opportunities.
•Oversee day-to-day CASP operations, manage the senior leadership team, and track operational performance metrics.
•Ensure MiCA regulatory compliance and liaise with regulators including the Central Bank of Ireland and ESMA.
•Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to the board.
•Manage risk (including AML/CTF), governance practices, stakeholder engagement, and executive leadership and talent development.

Key Requirements

•Eligible to work in Ireland or willing to relocate to Ireland.
•15+ years in financial services with a focus on crypto-assets/digital currencies and proven senior leadership experience.
•In-depth knowledge of the MiCA regulatory framework, crypto-asset markets, and financial regulations.
•Strong leadership, strategic thinking, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.
•Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are desirable.
