Key Responsibilities

•Identify white space in healthcare where AI-native businesses can create outsized outcomes; develop original, high-conviction investment theses and draft collateral to attract founders.
•Find top 1% founders and convince them Redesign is their best path; lead co-ideation and diligence to convert concepts into venture-scale opportunities.
•Stress-test theses and shepherd founders/concepts to the Investment Committee with clarity, speed, and honest representation of risks.
•Develop a robust pipeline of founders by building relationships across VC networks, healthcare operators, and strategic investors.
•Act as the primary interface between portfolio founders and Redesign’s platform; provide go-to-market acceleration, governance insight, and strategic leverage; build relationships to support founder success.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred, with a record of high academic achievement.
•10+ years of experience with a significant portion in venture capital, company building, or early-stage investing. Direct experience evaluating founders and making investment decisions at the pre-seed to Series A stage is strongly preferred.
•Deep healthcare domain expertise with the ability to develop original investment theses across care delivery, health tech, and healthcare services.
•Established network across the venture capital, healthcare operator, and startup ecosystems with a demonstrated ability to source and attract exceptional founding prospects.
•Fluency in business model analysis, investment thesis development, and financial modeling.
