Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Safety & Health principles and promote a safe and healthy workplace culture.
  • •Supervise Protection Officers and contracted security service providers to protect property and employees.
  • •Plan daily patrol assignments and coordinate crime prevention and traffic enforcement operations.
  • •Conduct security risk assessments, devise and monitor risk mitigation actions, and assist with safety plans and safety drills.
  • •Manage access control for visitors, contracts, and external employee access; oversee admin, budgets, staff shift rosters, leave planning, and PPE/uniform/firearms issuance.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12 Certificate.
  • •Grade A PSIRA Registered.
  • •Relevant National Diploma in Security Management or equivalent (NQF5).
  • •SA Driver’s License.
  • •Firearm Business Competency and SAPS Clearance (plus Voluntary Principles for Human Rights and security Training).
