Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and own the full lifecycle of civil, structural, and utility-related projects to deliver on-time and under-budget with customer satisfaction.
  • •Provide guidance on preliminary scope and customer requests, including rough order of magnitude (ROM) costs.
  • •Gather proposals, evaluate competitive bids, review proposals for accuracy, and track cost-saving suggestions or improvements.
  • •Develop final cost and schedule, implement controls to manage cost, schedule, and scope, and manage construction contracts through close-out.
  • •Facilitate approvals and resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time; coordinate with end users/facilities and manage contractors as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or an engineering-related discipline with 3+ years of professional experience in construction, engineering, or facilities management; or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • •2+ years of experience in a personnel leadership role or a project management role for civil, utility, or facility-related construction (preferred).
  • •1+ year of demonstrated hands-on experience in the construction field.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations and mark up coordination items.
  • •Basic proficiency with modern survey equipment such as GPS and Total Stations.
