Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide pre-sales technical systems engineering support for customers in Japan.
  • •Partner with account managers to understand customer pain points and lead whiteboard network architecture reviews.
  • •Architect and propose Arista Data Center & Campus network solutions using leaf-spine designs (VxLAN/EVPN) and network overlays.
  • •Perform hands-on testing to validate proof-of-concept setups and network designs/deployments.
  • •Respond to RFP/RFQs, represent Arista at industry events, and provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/CS/CE technical degree required.
  • •Minimum 5+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience focused on Data Center, Campus, and Wi-Fi solutions.
  • •Expert-level routing and switching experience with L2/L3 protocols, including OSPF and BGP (eBGP).
  • •Recent experience designing leaf-spine architecture.
  • •Expert knowledge of Ethernet and related networking technologies (e.g., VLANs, VxLAN, Multicast, Spanning Tree, QoS); Arista Cloud Engineer (ACE) certification desired.
